I don't know what those are since I mainly deal with clockwork-driven sound reproduction and some early vacuum tube tech, but he'll likely know what you're speaking of and might have a good suggestion for a matching replacement. He lives in Britain, but he's worked on and owns American and Japanese model reel-to-reel players as well as various models meant for European markets.
Ah, but that's if you want to use modernized components in lieu of NOS or gently-used olde stock parts, I get it that you might want to keep this as original as possible, i'm the same way with my own machines. owo

Hi the Sanyo ic’’s are obsolete , here’s a replacement - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184446533809
Cool ! . In The early seventies there was a change in technology between transistors and integrated circuits . A lot of manufacturers made those hybrid circuits that were very quickly made obsolete , like that Sanyo circuit , as development progressed into the ic . Those type of circuits are a nightmare to get hold of because of there relatively short production run
Fantastic ! , I’ve just got hold of an Akai 4000 . It’s the rarer one with the built in power amp. It’s got noise on right channel, which I’ve narrowed down to the preamplifier . Looking at the diagram , it seems to use the Sanyo chip for the power amp, and has separate transistors for the preamp . I think it might be a knackered transistor . I’ll hopefully find out when I haul it to bits
