Love the sketchy nature of this, no pun intended!
I am going to be honest, I am not sure how one sketches so artistically. What is the brush you use?
The dabs of color (or transparent color) that you have added to break up the plain-ness of the colors. Worked wonderful and are rather nice to look at ^-^

The brush is Styx and it comes with Procreate, under the tab of drawing brushes. There's surely a way to get a similar brushes in other programs if you desire one.
”Artistacally” would in this case be mindless drawing, I just put my pen to the tablet and let it go where it wants to. I've been getting stuck with many unfinished drawings that are more refined so it is a great break. ^u^

Thought I'd say that the dabs are on a separate layer with lowered opacity and with layer effects, one for the highlights and one for the shading, in case you'd want to know.

Hm, I'm sure I may be able to get that brush in Krita then!
Something to add a bit of spice for something unusual, like shadows.. Or at least that is where my head can see it being used!

But for sure, glad it is a break from more complicated work. I like to do that as well after I do Logo designs and stuff. Gotta switch thing around to keep it fresh!
