As a member of the Rosewolf lineage I solemnly pledge to uphold the truths and morals of the clan, to be calm and subtle in times of peace, harmony, and Joy.

“Stay true to the word and rules of the pack, bend them without breaking them in order to carry out the greater good. Keep patience, perseverance, trust, integrity, honesty, and calmness as your principles. To stray from the way of the clan is to become lost and without hope.”

To be strong, willing, and able in times of hardship and oppression. I will watch out and look after my brethrens, to support them in any and every way that I can.

“Look after your brethrens, always keep an open door for them. Think before acting, help in the best way you can. Do not shut your brethrens and sisters out, lend a helping hand. I seek to do without the hop of rewards. To be a Rosewolf is to give but not desire riches and promotions.”

I vow to work alone as a team, taking on my own appointed tasks as well as the task of the groups to accomplish the overall objective. I promise to rely on both my own skill and the skills of my brothers and sisters. I will not be self-reliant, but to do my part in fulfilling the goal of the clan while working with those I am appointed to.

“Remain strong and sharp, look out for your fellow furs but do not hold it on yourself to carry out the mission alone. However do not rely solely on your brethrens, work as one part of a whole each individual carrying out their own part towards completing the assignment.”

I shall carry out my mission with determination, commitment, and precision. My focus is on the good of the clan, to put others before myself. I promise not to be self-centered or seek personal gain. Everything is for the good of the clan, not for just one individual. I will use all resources that I have to help my brethren in times of great need. To take time out of my own daily routine to lend an ear and a shoulder for one who is in need.

“Put others before ones self, do not allow yourself to fall to greed, As a Rosewolf I look not for self GAIN, but ways to help my fellow fur.”

A Rosewolf is to hold true to the clans morals and principles within the clan. Inside out pack all religious and cultural beliefs are kept outside and are not to be brought before the council or the members. No member will try to force or pressure his or her brethrens to try their outside beliefs. It is the clans promise that religious matters are not part of our clan’s practices or exercise. We pay respect (But do not sacrifice, pray, or worship) to the father of all canines, the great wolf.

“Religion is not part of the clan’s practices, we shall hold to our OWN beliefs outside the pack meetings. We respect father wolf without religious cause.”

I promise not to be jealous or envious of my brethrens. I shall ask good fortune to shine upon my fellow furs and wish them an eternity of happiness. I will not interfere of or try to separate a fellow fur from that which has brought joy to them.

“Be grateful and give thanks to good fortune when it comes to fellow furs. Hope that good fortune will continue throughout their lives and wish them well. Do not show envy or jealousy towards your brethrens or any fur.”

I shall not bear false witness or spread lies about my brethrens. Any gossip I hear I shall cast a deaf ear upon it. If there are lies being spread inside the clan I shall report it to our leaders and will agree to tell truthfully the lies that have been heard through my ears. I will not spread lies for any reason. If I am called to make a claim or asked to reveal what I have seen or heard in a serious matter I shall do so with full honest and truth. No lies or false claims shall be spread through my lips.

“Honest above bonds, truth above friendship, those who are believed to be falsely accused I shall do all in my ability and power to prove innocent, but will not use false evidence or lies, for I shall be guilty of false witness.”

All commitments I make I shall hold true in a blood oath, whether it be a small promise or a given word. Trust and loyalty be held a high value within our clan, let not bonds or promises be broken.

“Promise be kept for all time, let bonds never be severed, trust and loyalty are essential to the goal of our clan.”

I vow never to let a good deed go without being returned. Great or small, community deeds or favors, I shall strive to pass it on and spread good. I shall return the favor to the one who did good onto me, or pass it on and do a good deed to another.

Forget not the good that has been done onto you, repay it in any way you can. Be it returning the favor directly or in directly.”

All furs of any species are friends, be them fellow canines or any other species, they are all fellow furs and therefore friends. No branch of fur species are any superior or inferior then the others. Each species hold their own different traits and qualities, and I shall strive to learn from them and treat them as equals. No fur shall be looked down upon through my eyes.

“All furs are equal and to be respected. No species is inferior or superior. I shall not underestimate or think to lowly or highly of another species.”

I vow to help out any fur in need in any way I can. If I am alone and can not help a fur by myself I shall quickly call to the aid of my brethrens and do all I can until help arrives. I shall not abandon any fur who is being wronged in any way for any reason and by anyone. If my fellow fur is depressed I shall comfort them the best I can. If I see a fur being abused by someone I shall defend them.

“Do not turn your head away from another, step forward and help. Do not abandon, extend a paw and left your fellow fur up.”

Look before leaping, do not rush in and jump into every situation. Take in your surroundings and grasp the situation. Use your environment to your advantage. Take caution and do not be reckless.

“To be reckless is the mark of a careless wolf, this shames one’s self and the clan. To dishonor the clan is to destroy all we strive for. The mind and body are one and must be used as such. Skill, wits, strength, and planned methods are the key to success.”
