Wow I literally have those two pieces I tore out of a scraped computer and have been thinking about making something steam punk out of it. I'm glad someone else thinks they looks awesome >^^<

by the way do you know anything about what those magnet bracelets are suposed to do? I heard only that it suposedly does something to the iron in blood.

*grin* It's my understanding that their only proven effect is to pull cash from your wallet. ;)

the whole blood iron thing is supposed to be that it magnetically aligns the iron. this would work if in fact it stayed still.

there is some evidence that magnets over the right acupressure points does good things if done right but the bracelets and such are pretty much useless for other than looking nice and picking up loose screws. Personally i like them for the utility of having a magnet on me for such things. which happens far more than most people would believe.

I have had a proper medicinal magnet and it did work. but it was a little OMG 12000 Gauss that went over the thyroid. the only side effect from it was the fact that it hurt to breath when there was a lot of normal pollution. it was like it was getting stuck in my neck hole or something. very odd. but the thyroid did correct somewhat and i have been losing weight normally ever since. but that was a monitored specific application.
