The hamburger is a portable, edible device, traditionally a hunk of ground beef, cooked, and placed between two pieces of bread. While the name suggests a German invention (Named after the city of Hamburg), it is debated which country (Germany or the United states) decided to put the ground beef between two slices of bread. The modern day Burger is a product of industrialization. The need for an affordable, mass produced, easy to make, and overall appealing delicacy designed for the blue collar worker. The various condiments add personality and flavor to what could be an otherwise boring sandwich. What does this mean for Boot? It's tasty. That's about it. While the knight is not a picky eater, she enjoys hers with barbecue sauce, pepper jack cheese, an onion ring or two, and a small dollop of mayo.
