Blaze smirked widely at his companion as the slightly larger unicorn floated up a tiny building that seemed to have a sizable clock on each side of it. The rectangular structure would make another fine addition to their growing collection. There were quite a few fascinating buildings littered over the city they had decided to visit next on their mini vacation to the human world, but nothing worthy of being kept as a souvenir. They had already found a very ancient looking pyramid as well as a green copper statue lifting a torch. The stallion’s wasted no time trampling everything else beneath their massive hooves, enjoying the feeling of utter dominance over the much smaller humans that they saw as little more than insects.
Militaries from all over the world barely had time to react to the gigantic invaders before the blue furred unicorn opened a portal with his magic and stepped through, instantly transporting them to another area of the planet. Cities were razed to the ground alarmingly quick as 8 deadly hooves came crashing down with enough force to cause the earth to split open. Cracks spread rapidly throughout the defenseless metropolises they targeted, swallowing up entire neighborhoods. Millions had begun to evacuate but this made little difference to the cities the stallions had decided to visit. Cities that had landmarks worthy of their attention suffered the same fate as those deemed unworthy of ransacking. Once the structures were ripped from the earth and made a little bigger thanks to a simple growth spell, the stallions would begin stamping through the packed metropolises, making sure to flatten every inch of city. They did this simply to make a point to the humans. They were unstoppable.
The whole world was in a panic after London and New York City were reduced to a barren wasteland of hoofprints and rubble. Citizens tried to seek shelter or otherwise flee their city. Even those in small towns did not feel safe from the godlike stallions who were effortlessly traveling across the planet and leaving devastation in their wake. Mere seconds after London had been completely wiped out, another portal opened outside of a large city thousands of miles away from the United Kingdom. Millions of people gazed upwards at the shimmering mass of magical energy and began to scream in absolute terror. They knew what was to come next. A gray furred hoof exited the portal, soon followed by the entirety of the stallion named Silvermane. He glanced down at the puny metropolis and grinned, before lifting a hoof and scrapping it against a mountain. It was clear that he only did this to clean off some of the rubble that had clung to the underside of his gigantic hoof.
Blaze stepped out a few seconds after, an equally smug grin on his face as he glanced down at the city they had appeared outside of. It was quite large but looked rather dull compared to the last few they had visited. The slightly shorter stallion looked around, taking in as much of the city as he could. Those screaming and panicking below gazed upwards at the stallion’s fiery eyes as they swept over them, momentarily seeming to stare into their souls. Blaze’s eyes seemed to burn with a desire to bring forth mass destruction and chaos. After a few moments of listening to the humans scream in terror, Blaze spoke to his companion.
“I don’t know about this one, Silver. Looks pretty pathetic. We should just crush it and move on.” The cobalt blue unicorn said, holding back a chuckle as his ears twitched. The tiny sirens and screams coming from the city did nothing but entice him to show the humans just how puny and weak they were to him. Blaze’s smug grin became something much closer to evil as he lifted his right forehoof and held it over what he believed was a part of the downtown area of the city. The screams grew even louder as he glanced towards Silvermane and winked.
Without any mercy or empathy for the helpless creatures beneath him, Blaze stepped down and chuckled as he felt the skyscrapers crumble beneath his sensitive hoof. The chunk of city that he had stepped on crackled loudly as he give his hoof a slow grind side to side. Silvermane simply smiled as he stepped over the tiny mountain range he had appeared behind and allowed both of his front hooves to come crashing down upon the defenseless city. Thousands of pitiful screams went silent as the two godly equines loomed over the mite sized inhabitants of the city.
“They are all pathetic, Blaze. Such insignificant creatures… They are at least competent at creating wonderful little structures for us to take.” Silvermane grinned a bit at the monuments floating in his magic. The larger stallion did not seem to even care about the destruction beneath and around his hooves. It was as though the humans were beneath his notice.
Blaze let out another chuckle as he lifted his hoof and watched the debris fall off of it and into the hoofprint he had left where tens of thousands had once been. He was about to give the city another look over for something worth taking as a souvenir but suddenly a few little objects caught his eye. Near their hooves tiny flying insects had begun to swarm. It took Blaze a few seconds to realize that they were not gnats but rather human resistance. He blinked, seeing tiny little explosions erupt across his raised hoof.
“Heh, looks like they are trying to fight back.” The blue unicorn said, grinning confidently down at the terrified pilots who had realized their missiles and guns did zero damage to their targets. Blaze’s fiery eyes followed the jets as they made a pass toward Silvermane, firing at his torso as well as his legs. The massive royal guard did not blink or even look down at the humans who were trying to attack them.
“I didn’t even notice,” He said coldly, making sure that the humans knew just how little he thought of their attempt at defending themselves. “I don’t see anything here worth keeping.”
Blaze grinned widely, his tail wagging behind him as he turned his attention back to the millions of humans trapped within the doomed city. “Well then. Shall we dispose of these bugs, Captain?” He asked teasingly, glaring at the most densely populated region of the city.
The gray stallion’s violet eyes glanced towards the edge of the city, spotting the suburban area that would not be leveled until the very end. “We shall. Let’s make this quick. We have two little specks to pick up before we move on.” Silver responded, lifting his right hoof and preparing to commence their rampage.
