Some random stuff I sketched at work last night.
First up is an idea that I thought up recently. I'd seen lolcat-style pics of anteaters standing up with captions like "Fuck You I'm an Anteater", but you can't call them lolcats because they aren't cats.
However, lolanteater is kind of clumsy to say, so I thought to shorten it to loleater, but when I said it out loud I realised it sounded the same as lolita, and thus the idea was born.
A cross between and anteater and a lolita, with the lolcat style caption at the top.
I'll probably do a proper pic of this one day.
Next is a 3/4 view of a naowly head with mouth open.
I managed to do a quite good looking one of these on iScribble the other day, so I wanted to see if I could do it again. Not quite as good this time, but not too bad I think.
Down in the bottom right is another fursona self-portrait, but this time with tentacles for my beard. This was inspired by a comment Denco made at the bonfire on the weekend.
I'd been twirling my beard into tendrils during the two and a half hour drive up there, and when I met Denco he immediately exclaimed "Cthulhu Beard!", so yeah, tentacle beard FTW.
To the right of that, we have an attempt at a feline anthro skull. Drawn without any references though, so it's probably not very accurate.
top right is just a quick sketch of a crane. I'm working on designing an origami model of a construction crane, just "for the lulz", so that when I talk to people about origami and they say "All I can fold is a crane", I'll be able to say "Me Too!" and then fold the construction sort rather than the bird.
It would be hilarious I tell you!
And finally, under the crane, a quick sketch of my origami dragon, again without any sort of reference, just drawing from the knowledge of it in my head.
