The greater the peril of the situation the better for Danger Hyena so the puns and cackling laughter will only increase. I imagine that it's probably a bit distracting for Eternal to be able to concentrate on getting out of his bindings with Danger already working his legs free. I expect that they'll both soon be free and escape the ship, then it's just a case of getting to shore somewhere and Eternal probably hearing all too many puns that would last him for a thousand lifetimes.
