It's been a bit but heres a thing of Harkail done by  Maddworld

For those that don't know about Harkail, she is a monk that fights by hurting herself to hurt the enemy. Whenever she punches her foes or makes contact via an unarmed strike she can link the two mentally, any damage/pain she feels the linked target will feel as well. This makes her a difficult opponent to fight in a 1v1 because of this ability alone, but in the end she is the one actually taking the damage whereas they are only feeling it.

Small backstory summary:
Harkail was a kobold that had her tribe attacked and she was captured and sold off to slavery, she was purchased by a wealthy noble who seemed kind on the first impression. But that was a mask he put on, the man was 110% evil and tortured her daily, most of her scars are because of him. She lost her eyes as well as her tongue + various other horrific things done to her, but eventually the local guards found out about his treating of slaves and he was quickly taken away to face judgment. A monk saw Harkails sorry state and offered to train her in a way to turn her disadvantages into advantages, after much training she's now a full fledged adventurer leading a much better life.
