... my god man, you are probably tired of hearing this, but your avatar is awesome in the most literal sense I can think of: I had to let it process for a good long while before I realised... those were kittens. Then I had to bug out a while longer and stare at it to make sure I wasn't seeing things in the wee hours of the evening...
Just in case... I think I'm a head to bed now. Kudos

To my knowledge, rabbits don't, but hares do.
Especially in furry, rabbits and hares are so physically close to one another that the difference is largely by preference, and the existence of paw pads is also by preference
There are many other slight (and like 2 major) differences between rabbits and hares

*laughs* sorry, but I couldn't help myself on the mention of that... something about "knowing what is going to happen ahead of time" when you draw certain things.
How about this instead then? this sort of reminds me of a certain coloring style that I would pay money to learn, from an artist named Jay Axer: the big thing about it is how stark the contrast is between "hard" and "soft" surfaces, which is easily apparent here. If you haven't seen his work already, you might consider looking it up on DA. I think it also reminded me of his work because I've seen similar rubber stocking things on his characters: I'm also rather jealous of his costume/clothing design.
A more... I dunno, public? example of similar coloring style is seen in the Magna Carta games on the PS2 and PS3, though I haven't seen hard textures osed much in those designs...
*whispers* truth be told, I could probably learn this style if I'd just practice my coloring more: Axer released a wonderful "step by step" series going from ink to full digital color in one rather long picture *chuckles* I'm just lazy... if I'm lucky, the right "motivation" will come kick me in the butt and practice more. Until then, great art and wonderful knack for color blending. I'll eyeball more of your gallery when I have the time
