Acaras are cute as they appear like cats, but have the adaptations to breathe underwater.
The nicest part of The Neopets TCG was how all the cards had art you did not already see on the site. Many poses for each Neopet looked very cute and unique for the particular species. The 'Blue Acara' stands out to me the most for its card art. :)

The closest we got is, I think, was how the Official Neopets Magazine had all the cards illustrated in their bi-monthly issues.
Back in the late 90s, MAGIC: The gathering had encyclopedia's that had all the cards for various sets illustrated so you could see how they looked and what all they did. The NP Magazine had similar displays of the cards from the base set until the final set of 'The Haunted Woods'.
I once had all the issues of the magazine, but sold them as a result of no longer being able to see. :(
