Yeah, worst title and thumbnail ever I know.
Made this earlier today after an exam. It's repetitive even by my standards but hey, it's the Starman theme from Mario so we're expecting that right? I'm hoping that there's just enough variation within the combination of instruments and occasional breaks away from the main theme to not make this too repetitive.
I've got a lot of other music from both recently and many moons ago that I've opened up in LMMS today but I'm doubtful of whether to upload any of them. Some really just don't make the cut in my eyes or need some work...*shrugs* Then again I tend to go through this with pretty much everything I submit as I still don't have much confidence in my "work", if you could even call my many basic remixes, covers and the rare original piece that.

Yeah, that's definitely MMX style. Looking over some of the first and second game's tracks as well as a few other people's MMX style remixes, I can spot something in common between them all besides the instruments used but the problem is that I can't quite pinpoint it. It's definitely more to do with the flow of the track and the motifs most MMX tracks seem to have.
Don't know if I'll be able to pull it off but I guess if I find time I could always analyse a few MMX BGMs in more detail by actually looking at the notes for each instrument and see what the shared patterns and themes are.

Yeah, I know it's a tad fast, ironically this was the tempo that importing the MMX stuff set it to, so it's actually at normal speed...it's just that the starman parts were intended for a lower tempo. I could always just export some of the tracks seperately at the correct tempo for each then fiddle with them in audacity but that sounds time-consuming >.<
