I finally took some time to draw something new and original to start off the year! It took long enough, but I decided the best to at least get something done was the little egg himself, Dot!

Dot's a smart little boy, so as he's coming on two years old, the lad tends to start questioning things and getting curious about stuff around him. Pokémon like him seem to figure things out very quickly!

I felt that Dot was a perfect contender for an easy sketch, thanks to his simple shape and few colors; I was able to sketch this in about 10 minutes and color it in less than an hour. I'm pretty happy with how it came out too!

I shared on Twitter that as a New Year's resolution, I would make an effort to draw and color one new piece each month in 2021. I hope that it's not just one piece a month, but I think that's a light enough goal to meet!
