New 8x10 Sketch for Serene.
Instead of the Western dress style of the Gothic Lolita trend, [i was having difficulty drawing the dress >_<], I went with a Kimono-style Gothic Lolita outfit i had a photo of.

Over her right shoulder will be a Paper Parasol, and a pattern upon the dess itself is to be decided [perhaps a black material with white butterflies like in the second link posted above. or something of my own design.
the overall effect i wished to go for in this piece was an elegant, yet traditional air that i feel i have achieved with the figure.
a background will be added during the inking or coloring process.

I actually have her colored now, i'm just going to ninja the power cord from the monitor of the new desk top and use it for the old desktop in the basement so i can FINALLY scan a crap load of things i've drawn.
though i should finish Serene and just be done with her or that part at least so i can work on her mate and have that done too and mail their stuff back!! -flails and kicks self in the head-
i'll do that now.. something is brewing~
