The Keeper of Cosmo Canyon
E3 is going on...and like big dorks, the husband and I are watching it. I know I said I wouldn't post any more harmony program sketches, but I doodled this up when I was thinking about one of my favorite video games FFVII. And...being a dirty furry, I wanted to draw Red 13 or Nanaki.

Well, in Before Crisis, one of the prequels, it is revealed that there is another of Nanaki's species, a female named Dinne.
I'm not completely clear on the details, but it seems that she goes on some spiritual journey that lasts many years, which is why we never see or hear about her in FF7 or Advent Children.
Of course, now that we know she exists, it leads me to wonder why they make such a big deal about Nanaki being the last of his species throughout FF7 when he clearly isn't. Hell, Hojo's trying to breed him because of it.
It makes sense that she'd be there, otherwise, how would the cubs/pups/whatever be there at the end? But since she's there, it doesn't make sense to make it such a major point that he's the last of his species when he clearly isn't. Stuff like this makes me really hope that Square actually makes a FF7 remake for PS3, taking all these sequels, prequels, and re-tellings into account, and rewriting it all to tell us exactly how things happened.
