Whether it is a raging inferno, a demon called from the abyss, or some other deadly peril his opponents lay again him, Enigma is aware that his magic's greatest weakness is an inability to affect the physical world. Once these threats are unleashed, dealing with them is tricky.

For this reason, it is preferable to head them off at the pass. Rather than wait for the inferno to be summoned, prevent the spell from ever being cast in the first place.

The most harmless spell is the one that was successfully neutralized before its effects were unleashed.
