So I got this YCH done, and I can't accurately describe how cute it is. Featuring Mehnk and Maicha, it's by far the cutest piece of art I got. Just look at them ! aaaaaaaaaaa, I'm melting from the cuteness overload. I'm also melting because one of my sona is getting a make-up and I don't how to react to this, I so much wanna take their place.

Now, granted, this meme is pretty accurate, but I surely don't mind because it's so darn cute.

Short story :

“So, Me-me, we are going to start with some foundation, and then we’ll apply some concealer.” Maicha said, holding her make-up kit in front of her friend Mehnk.
“Maicha, I don’t think I’m ready for this, I-” they said, their face red with embarrassment.
“Don’t worry silly, you’ve just cleaned your face, you are as ready as you can be for this makeup session !” she said, interrupting them while dabbing their face lightly with the rose-colored brush.
“I-, that’s-, that’s not what I meant ! I don’t know if this is right for me.” their voice cracked on the last syllabus.
Maicha paused what she was doing, setting the mirror she was holding aside on the table. She got closer to Mehnk, grabbing their hand and squeezing it warmly. They let her do it, a pitiful look on their face.
“Me-me, I’m here for you, and if you want me to stop, I’ll. But do you really ?”
They held her gaze a brief second more before taking a deep breath, letting their entire body relax before exhaling it in a long sigh.
“No, you’re right, I know you’re right, I want you to continue.”
She flashed a quick smile at them before grabbing her mirror again.
“Don’t worry, you’ll be fine. Alright, deep breath, relax, close your eyes and let me do my work.”
The next few minutes went on, Maicha enthusiastically describing everything she was doing, clearing out the terms used and explaining the name of the products she was using. Mehnk was mainly silent, at first intimidated by the complexity of the subject they were confronted. But as time passed and their make-up progressed, they started to relax, slowly opening up and even asking a few questions, still with their eyes closed. Maicha watched with a feeling of pride as a small smile crept up on their face, illuminating it with a warmth that was uncommon for them. Not resisting a single second, she smiled in turn.
