Oil painting commission finished up last year for the lovely  utunu and  kikivuli . Unfortunately, in the scans, you can't really see the lovely metallic foil and iridescent medium accents used throughout these pieces. They lend a lovely sense of dimensionality to the pieces!

I really had fun with these and feel like the process of working on these pieces allowed me to level up my understanding of oil painting as a medium. Thank you to both Utunu and Kikivuli for giving me so much free reign to explore, pushing the use of light and color in these pieces was an extremely satisfying part of the work.
