I thought I would submit this now since I finished it and probably won't be up to posting anything on Friday.
On Friday it will be a year since my grandfather passed away and left this world. A year since I last heard his voice over the phone before cancer and tumor finally took him from us.
I miss him so very much.

So I thought I would draw something happy instead of depressing. A time when I was younger and walking at his side while he went on and on about his war stories and just life in general. Oh how I loved to listen to him talk. That man could ramble on and on so long as he had a listening audience. He loved his family and he was like a father to me, mine was military and never around. He taught me many lessons and was always there when you needed someone to listen. He was never afraid to give advice even if it was not wanted.

I know we all have someone we miss dearly, we honor them in our own way and cherish eery memory with them. But never give your chance to regret a situation. People don't live forever but we must live with our actions forever.
