It is very well known of the open rivalry and bitter hatred that Clan Mors and Rictus have for one another. Both of these warlord clans vie for supremacy over one another through any means necessary, be it through sabotage, false rumors, or outright murder. Krashak, also having a rather strong dislike for Clan Mors, saw opportunity in an 'alliance' with Clan Rictus, or at least a treaty-pact with one of their warlords. Luckily for the seer, he found Skilek, who had a burning hatred for one of the warlords of Mors, Gouge Tailrender. The two of them were and always have been hateful rivals, often fighting in violent pit fights in the ring in an attempt to kill each other and show their clan's supremacy. Unfortunately, so skilled are both warlords that neither could slay one another, both succumbing to exhaustion rather than death in the ring. Krashak, ever the opportunist, approached Skilek one day with an offer- Krashak would supply him and Rictus with war beasts from Moulder to fight Mors with, and in return, Skilek would give his next several black-furred broods to Krashak. Though losing potential Stormvermin in his ranks was a brief concern, the backing of a Grey Seer and the promise of rat ogres and wolf rats overwrote the warlord's brief concerns, and he agreed. After all, it's not like Skilek cared for his broods because of blood relation. Of course not. A seer's words was worth oh-so MUCH more.
