So, mini-story, my BW Galvatron had a pink/purple colour scheme as a reference to BWII Galvs as I had initially believed it to be a show I'd be unable to watch.
And 'cos without being to watch it i'd likely not draw anything of it due to not knowing enough.
BUT THEN I GOT TO WATCH!
So my BW Galv started to feel progressivley more 'eeehhh' with his colour scheme, plus it kinda made the two 'blend together' which is extra "oof" 'cos my BW story/art/characters are separate/independant from my BWII ones. I mean for one BW!Megatron wouldn't name his clone-child after the big, pink emperor that kicked his ass haha.
ANYWAY
That resulted in me making a few concept colour schemes and this one just STOOD OUT! Like heck, look at ma boi!
Other colours weren't so bad but this one really stuck out as the best one and I'm glad because it looks gorgeous!

No, they're separate here.
Megatron (before Earth), forced a protoform to scan him (hence the resemblance) as he thought it'd make the perfect protégé to keep an eye on things while he went after the golden disk. Though once Galvatron started displaying problems (namely going through a rebellious phase) and Megatron ditched him 'cos he decided he didn't care anymore and he was close to "success" with the golden disk anyway so no need for him. Alas Megs underestimated the power of spite and Galvs followed him to Earth.
