The ancient makango civilization created power stones that when touched would temporarily transform them and grant them special magical powers. These mystical powers gave the makangoes an economic, technological and military advantage over their neighbor tribes. They were feared and despised by other nations that sought to harness their secrets for their evil purposes. When the makangoes civilization mysteriously disappeared, the stones went dormant, the stories of these power stones turned to legends and myths. Until Glyph and Sigil accidentally activated them while searching a lost temple. Transforming them and granting them elemental powers that they used to defeat the tomb robbers. Now Glyph and Sigil have to find and collect the remaining stones before they fall into the paws of evil organizations that would abuse their powers for their own wicked gains.

The power stones, as displayed over their heads, can come in many shapes, sizes and colors with etched symbols to indicate what powers they will provide. The secrets of how they work, how many their are and what powers they provide have been lost to the sands of time. The only way to know is to find them and discover what they do through trial and error. They are dormant until they are activated by the touch of a Makango. The duration of the effects of each stone differ based on the affiliation and talents of its user. Glyph and Sigil can freely swap between powers.
