i started this last summer at my aunt's house, while i was watching tv and looking over at some of her plants. African Violets, actually. Toothpaste and the violets have been done for quite some time (they're both coloured with Copic Markers), but i never really knew quite what to put in the background, or how to fill it in. so... after practicing with a few other pieces, i decided to throw in some watercolours. i think they look alright. certainly better than the white page that was there before. :3

i'll be framing this in the next day or two, and bringing it with me to put into the Anthrocon Art Show. WHOO!
