As Natas went to pick up Andrew, Drake lay on the ground, facefirst, while the wound on his chest poured out blood. The pain itself was dull and throbbing, and Drake could feel his life slipping away.
Drake, Drake! Please get up! Alter shouted, his form flickering in and out of existence.
Drake didn't respond. Alter suddenly disappeared for a few seconds. After that, he flickered back.
Drake, even if you don't want to do it for yourself, do it for Andrew! Alter said crackly. Natas has him by the neck! You know what he does to his victims!
At that, something stirred within Drake. It was a slow, fiery sensation that swelled and grew bigger and bigger. After a bit, Drake shudderingly got up. Drake shakily grabbed his locket and opened it. Inside it, he saw Andrew's picture. Even if Drake's head was turned up, his face couldn't be made out. Slowly and shakily, Drake got up w/ his head down. Alter's form suddenly shimmered, albeit a bit stutteringly.
Drake? Alter asked unsurely.
Drake didn't respond. Instead, he thrust his left hand out to Alter. Alter was confused and startled at first. Then, he realized what Drake wanted.
You... want my help for once? Alter asked.
Drake didn't answer, but Alter understood plenty. Hesitantly, Alter grabbed Drake's hand. Suddenly, Alter disappeared. Just as Natas had nearly dragged Andrew, Drake finally spoke.
"Get away from him," Drake said darkly.
Natas looked up w/ an amused look.
"AND WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO CORPSE?"
Suddenly, Drake's arm flew out, and Natas was held in midair. Before his corrupted eyes could widen, Drake whipped his back, and Natas crashed into Still Fountain! Drake slowly made his way to the destroyed structure, which had quite the chaos among the people around. Natas immediately got up and cracked his neck.
"YOU DARE FIGHT BACK AGAINST YOUR BETTER?"
Slowly, Drake lifted his head up. His eyes were cracked w/ bits of purple and magenta. Suddenly, Drake threw his head back.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Drake nightmarishly screamed.
Drake then exploded in a burst of magenta!
