I mean, Spunky the Smiling Spook #1 just keeps giving. Here's another figure from https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=77201 page 23, the Zany Giraffe story about putting on a play. The title panel has this really determined mouse with the shepherd's crook and he was so delightful to look at and to draw that I just had to do it, without paying attention to exactly how his head connects to his body. Not that I have a head-and-body that doesn't work, mind you, it's just not how the comic drew the figure.
