It's rather rude to shave a fainted Vulpix, especially one that you encountered knocked out in the woods. ESPECIALLY when it is winter, and the air is mostly frigid! What were you thinking, doing that!? Look at him, the poor thing! You can even see the stub of his sixth tail, usually hidden in his other five! Oh how cold he must be.. Shivering there in the open air. Give him something to keep warm, dangit! Or so I swear to Mew, you'll be chased!
And as a side note, yes. He DOES have six tails, but he had one bitten off at a younger age. And the marking upon his right flank.. all I will reveal for now is that it does appear that way upon the skin. There are reasons, and I am making this backstory as the art for it is drawn.

Oh nooo! Poor little thing, all cold and humiliated like that from some rude creature with tons of evilness... I have no words! >~<
*the red wolf gets closer to Fray and surround his shivering body with my fluffy warm fur, like if i was a huge poke'ball around his shaved body, smiling at him and declaring* "Now i can't leave you in such uncomfortable state little pix, come with me inside my cave till your fur returns to give ya that needed protection. You will be my little special guest for now sweetie!" ;D ♡

Oh no, you poor thing! *I turn into a Flareon and I lead you into a nearby cave and when I do, I increase my body temperature so it’s like a sauna in the cave and my FLOOF puffs up and covers you and wraps you up* I will never leave any mon hopeless and in distress. Please feel free to cuddle and snuggle in my FLOOF as long as you want too. ;3
