In the world he lives in, the Animal Gods watch over mankind and sometimes grant them gift to transform into half-human half-beast creatures. These chosen ones are the Gods' emissaries and dedicate their lives to help other people around them, or to protect the kingdom from its foes. Varg used to be one of them. He was one of the Wolf God chosen ones. But, the Wolf God slowly became crazy. He lost his mind and tried to use Varg as an avatar to walk on Earth and to bring chaos all over the land.
Trapped inside his own body and possessed by the Wold God, Varg couldn't fight against his grip, and started to destroy, to kill and to raid, anywhere he went. Eventually, other chosen creatures managed to capture him and sent him to a high-security prison. He was chained there for years, trying to fight against the Wolf God's influence over his mind.
After years and years of struggle, Varg finally freed himself from the God's mental grip, but it changed his personnality forever. He was still a violent person, seeking for freedom and vengeance. His rage against the chosen ones and the Wolf God made him break his chains, and he ran out if his prison... Now, he keeps his old chains as a weapon.
