A beautiful tarot card I commissioned from the always talented   Madness_demon

This card features Folia, my dryad witch character, and is designed to be paired with the Ryoko/The Fool (O) card commissioned for   LumixDragonFey

The Magician is often depicted with one hand in the air, holding a scroll; and the other hand pointing down towards the earth. A symbolic representation of the connection between the earthly and divine. In this case, Folia is holding her familiar (the newt Pickle) as a symbol of her connection to occult secrets while her other hand is firmly grasping the staff that contains her bound bonsai tree, itself a literal symbol of her connection to the earth and nature. The Magician is also often depicted with a table full of the symbols of the other minor arcana, themselves being symbols of the four classical elements. Folia is a more transient figure however, and keeps many such symbols on her person instead of a table. In this case: the herb pouch (earth), potions (water), and censer/dagger (air/fire).
