NOTE: Half of Vani's description is taken from Ethan Reinhardt, given that she went along with the gray wolf. Additionally, her original species is meant to be Lucario, but because of no mention of Pokemon in the MALAKAS Project, I suggested  Lonefox2956 a blue jackal with black markings identical to Lucario, in which he approved.

Vani Miller's name didn't sound like someone from Germany, not to mention her fur being blue and identical to the fictional blue and powerful jackal from a video game series, but likely she dyed her fur Not much of her background was known, except she came to live in Germany since her teenage years. However, much like his gray wolf friend Ethan Reinhardt, she was inspired by physical changes on Sammy Luna, so she along with him to join the MALAKAS Project somewhere in California.

While Ethan spent of his time on training grounds, Vani got herself to break a sweat without getting dirty by working out in a military gym. While the gym provides similar training, it is limited to just several small spots, while the training grounds provide vast areas for military training.

Things went as usual for Vani and Ethan for months, so nothing was worth telling, because their experience was pretty as similar to that of many recruits. However after an honorable discharge, they went back to Germany to tell what they had been become to their friends. Even though it was highly unlikely for the MALAKAS Project to extend its coverage to Germany, the two were certain that many of his friends and possibly other Germans would be interested to join the project in the US anyway.
