When Donald got a postman employment, while the three nephews were practising to gain another Woodchucks medal in first aids. They use a straw dummy to practise, and Donald shouted them to keep silence. He made the postman promise, but later, he found a love letter, from Gladstone to Daisy. Angry, he cast it on the river, but later, he feels remorse when he looks at a monument dedicated to a heroic postman. He rans in the middle of a snow storm to rescue the letter, but fails after countless suffering. He comes to Daisy's house, where she helps him to recover heat placing him in the oven (She did it, I swear it). As Donald recovers, Daisy attends the door. The three nephews got the letter! They cast the dummy on the river... then they "rescue" it... with the letter stuck. Daisy reads the letter and runs to call Gladstone by phone, to thanks him, emphazising "how much he suffered going from his house to the post office". That is too much for Donald, who runs home back grunting, while the nephews tells him about their new medals and how they found the letter. Angry to boiling point, Donald shouts: "I wonder what the hell do those Woodchucks when there are no more medals to win!!".
