That is so cute! It's one of the few scalie drawings that has made me go "awwwwwwwwwww!" upon looking at it. Great job on the details, and I love their positioning. It's just so adorable! ♥♥♥

Glad you liked. I think it's too sweet though. I let it sit overnight and when I came back it was covered by a layer of sugar. Gonna make it hard to ink if that keeps up.

That's the least of my worries. If I ink too fast I may caramelize the paper.

I hoped to relieve your artist block and was hoping that you were going to use colored sugars to color with! .. You can shade with various degrees of cuteness and hotness ... hehehe *^^*

Cuteness is more of a highlight, and hotness more of a light source. Sugars would be the based color, yes, but I'd have to use vanilla sugar for shading.

Not a chance. The petals will be a puff pastry and any early licks may make it mold.

I cheat and use the stuff from the frozen aisle at the grocery store. Only thing I'll use a spoon for is the sugar coloring. Gotta heat up the sugar with just a bit of water and stir.

True, and it's diabetic friendly, from what I hear. Should be able to share it with all that way... Except hyper ferrets that'll buzz out on the slightest bit of a sugar rush.

I liked how it came out too. Was truly surprising, actually. I usually have to redraw something 5 times, but this was the first attempt.

Yeah, I've done that one. I think I've actually manages to get upwards of 20 redraws of a single picture before.

Exactly. You get so frustrated, not just cause it's taking so many redraws, but cause you know you *should* be able to draw it. But for whatever reason, it's just not happening.
