Sometimes the process can be... tangled ;)
I create my sculptures from polymer clay. The material is quite elastic and soft (especially if fresh). To make it durable and solid, you need to bake the sculpture. And to bake every detail correctly, in needed position, sometimes extras - threads, stands, supports - are required.
