I used to have a necklace FREAKISHLY similar to this one. The only difference was the central globe. It was a polished amethyst.

I like the appearance of the necklace. Makes me think of a good many possibilities for magical objects and such, and just barely reminds me of the dowsing crystal from Samurai 7.

Samurai 7 is an anime, based of the old black and white movie 7 Samurai. In the anime, a water priestess has a dowsing crystal, normally used to locate water. She uses her talents to divine which samurai would best be suited to saving her village. It is a nifty anime. http://www.animesfuel.com/samurai7episode1.htm Episode 1 can be found there.
