I was in the hospital for a week and in a full leg cast for a month or two after that. From the time I woke up in the hospital it wasn't too terrible of an experience, and I don't remember any of the actual accident itself, most likely because of getting hit on the head so hard, so I really didn't have any physical or emotional trauma.
Really it could have been a lot worse, and n the end I'm proud of my scars because I did put one of them on my character.
