Top 3: Vanilla (P5R #1) My Thoughts
REVIEW:
Yeeeeah, this one is very very obvious guys… I mean… What did you expect? I’ve talked about it all the time over to my friends and I can’t just stop recommending to it for everyone at all and I’m considered a ‘hardcore’ P5 fan. Heck, probably all of Persona in general now. And I mean a ‘hardcore’ fan and I’ve made some lots of P5 canary out there…Everything about Persona 5 Royal is nothing but golden. You may argue that ‘it is the same game as the vanilla game.’ Well, yes and no. The reason this ‘definitive version’ is so good is because there are significant improvements from the original game. And I mean lots of significant improvements… It’s a helluva a lot easier to increase your confidals, increase your social stats, and there is much more content and options. I remember having much trouble traveling around the Metaverse because of that SP running so low and I have no choice but to go back and sleep. Not so much anymore. While this is literally the same game, there are enhancements and it depends on your point-of-view. As I was playing, I can’t help but appreciate these small changes as I’ve explored deeper into these new additions.
Just like the vanilla game, you play as a ‘nameless hero’ (or call him his default name, Ren Amamiya.) Persona 5 Royal is not a game for ‘everyone’ as it can be very intimidating and overwhelming to play for a lot of people. The reason for this is because there is ‘a lot’ of content. And I mean… A LOT of content. Just like before, you have to follow your schedule and plan your daily activities carefully. You DO NOT want to get a very bad ending as this game can be pretty dark. You obviously want to have a satisfying time with yourself. Whatever your choices and your actions are, it effects the game’s story. I can talk hours and hours about this but I’m afraid this would turn into an essay rather than my own thoughts. It is in fact a great game and a perfect piece of art for 2020. I needed some time away from the real world and spend much longer times with P5R. This has been the worst year of my life and I’ve experienced a close ‘loss’ for the first time and it almost traumatized me of my entire life. I thought I could not be able to go on, but I realized that we all have to endure our pain no matter how difficult things get. Our world is just unfair and I empathize of ‘getting away’ from suffering and pain. You’ll know exactly what I mean if you play this gem and I dare not spoil it at all. This was one of the best semesters I’ve experienced and this extra chapter is well worth it to re-experience Persona 5.
Graphics: 10/10 (For the stunning art-style and the visuals, this was an obvious)
Music: 10/10 (You want to listen to the soundtracks again and again. Lyn has outdone herself for the new music once again. These are probably the most catchiest themes ever.)
Gameplay: 10/10 (While a lot of people out there struggle JRPGs, don't worry, this is the most streamlined turn-based RPG you'll ever pick up. Though I would recommend grabbing yourself a walkthrough just in case if you don't wanna miss any confidals and the extra content that Royal has offered you. Still, it does state the obvious during game play.)
Story: 10/10 (Of course the story is worth mentioning and worth re-experiencing. If you haven't or played P5 original, there are significant differences from animation and expanding the story. This is a love letter from Atlus and I love it so much.)
Overall: 10/10 (For its presentation, memorable characters, memorable story, and the enhancements of the original to make this one significantly better. This'll be a much easier time to hang around with your Phantom Thief partners and this is like a family that you never wanna leave behind.)
Thanks for reading. Please keep the comments as respectful as possible. Otherwise, rude behaviour can lead to blocks. You have the right to say your opinion but again, be respectful.
Thank you.

I have lots of respect for the original, the last 'long' jrpg i played, and it was damn long! XD
for length reason, still skipping on that one, but it's cool to hear about all these upgrade. Easier boos for social stat and confident is definitely welcome with how much there are!
Now waiting for P6!

As someone who is currently playing through it I got to say, I agree with everything you have said here. The game is fantastic and has helped me get into JRPS as a whole. I just wanna say that the third semester story is really heartbreaking to me and made me question my morals all throughout it. P5R has become one of my favorite games of all time and I'm glad others enjoy it as much as I do! (also that artwork is amazing)
