ok this might be a bit hard to understand but
this is the artist character Lafi 'Iwsot, and my character Kiala 'Reaom having a discussion about eachothers lives. Lafi left the separatists and now fights for the UNSC, and Kiala, an ex-spartan became a sangeili via gentic alterations. Learning this about eachother they discuss how they're finding life in eachother's shoes so-to-speak.
