White fur color is highly rare, and highly coveted by the Skaven race, even more than pups born with black fur. While black-furred offspring are indeed born with a 'killer's mark' and are taken to be trained into the fearsome Stormvermin, those with white fur are elevated in a station higher than that, and are trained to be the very bodyguards of the Council of Thirteen and other Grey Seers themselves. These white-furred warriors, dubbed Albino Stormvermin, are among the most elite of the elite, natural-born killers who unquestioningly serve their council and seer masters. Albino Stormvermin are unable to speak, and are mute. Only through bloodthirsty growls and shouts can they communicate. It's theorized that they're muted at a young age so in the rare chance one defects, they cannot spread the secrets of the Council or their seer masters, but this hasn't been proven. Srakk Bonebreaker was chosen alongside another albino Stormvermin, Vect Scarpaw, to be the chosen bodyguards to Krashak. Though the seer doesn't often call them by their name, Krashak gave Srakk more green-tinted armor and a halberd so that he may be recognized from Vect. Even during Krashak's rise to heresy did Vect and Srakk remain by Krashak's side, either out of blind loyalty or terrible fear. The answer isn't known, but none dare approach the seer unannounced without first having to get through the halberd blade and tip of Srakk. Many assassination attempts have been thwarted by this guardian alone, and may the various severed heads of Eshin's agents be a warning to those who oppose Srakk's master.
