A corrupt hound assimilated and fused with a hellhound character of mine because unlike regular meats, heckhound meats were compatible enough to survive sharing a shell with the corruption and the mechanical hound's worn and outdated shell needed some upgrades to evolve the corruption to a whole new level. The heckhound character, despite being malformed beyond recognition, is still doing fine even if he's mostly just handling the bodily functions for the corruption. The corruption is still in control though, but it has all the cognitive capabilities borrowed from the heckhound, who without those capabilities is basically just vibing along on the backseat while the corruption pretends to be the owner of the brain :v
