I feel much stressed about events going on lately. Since new constitution was accepted even though most people voted against it, things getting worse and there’s getting less rights to people with each new law. Anime “Death Note” was banned. For #MeToo posts you now can go to jail because it’s a “slander”. Feminist artist Julia Tsvetkova got arrested for vulva paintings and feminist art series. You can’t say any bad things about government, too.
5 days ago was released video investigation about Putin’s fucking palace which costs 100 000 000 000 rubles. Size of land on which it’s located equivalent to 39 Monaco. While a lot of people surviving and literally working for food, our government fattens on our money.
I am 26 y.o. at this moment and 16 years of my life I had Putin as president and seem like we have no choice because people votes doesn’t matter. When he first elected, I just started going to school and I hate to think I will have same people in government in next years and things won’t get any better.
I’m unsure about my future – my work as freelance artist and illustrator depends on Internet and I used to work worldwide, but who knows, maybe one day working for other countries gets prohibited, too and I'll lose my job.
I respect anyone who had joined protests – these caused not so much the arrest of opposition leader Navalny by fake accusations as by overt government corruption. People are scared by high chance to lose any freedom of speech and go to jail by political reasons. I glad a lot of people whom I know in person went 23 January to show their disagreement, even though some of them got busted or beaten by “brave” police.

It's interesting. Russians think their government sucks and Putin must go. At least among the young people.
In Germany, many are of the opinion that Merkel must go. (Merkel muss weg)
A current example is the lockdown policy. Many studies show that the lockdown helps little. According to a survey, 75% of the people are of the opinion that the lockdown must be ended. Many have become unemployed thanks to this policy and there will be more.The zerschräderung of the economy that has been fleeced for years. With this policy, the economy will go to the wall.
But the government thinks one must survive the 3 wave. Since one wonders. When even the 3 wave started as the other waves have begun?
As mentioned before, 75% of the people don't want the lockdown anymore. But one makes calmly further. There are still numerous things that the confidence of the government so slowly crumbles. As well as the trust in their own media.
There are several other problems as well as moments of what the government has done. But I prefer a ruler who is open. Instead of a sham democracy where the oligarchs (rule of a few)
PS: a friend who knows the stuff of biology there. Means that one must live with the new virus. It will develop a herd immunity.

Overpricing everything, banning everything, policemen can kill people, even the innocents, and government officials stealing billions of money from people, even those who pay taxes regularly.
And only rich people can get good services because they have MONEY.

My respect always for those brave enough to go on the streets and protest for the rights that are viciously stolen from them. Voices like yours and those of many, artists or otherwise, should be always heard! I wish the best for your country and do take care of yourself.
Putin is becoming a Tsar. He is ruling longer than president should, he has a giant property and political power. The only thing what is separating him from that its fucking crown...
And this make me really sad. Especially when I realise you russians fighted agaist this a century ago and instead of freedom you get totality full of tyrany, lies and cruelty. And after all this shit you should get where you have been and what you fight agaist...? No... That it's unfair.
And this is why I'm respect you people.
But be careful: Don't allow anybody else to take your freedom what you will win! Don't let you get blind! Because I wish you don't get a 2nd Soviet union and something much worse.

Ano při revoluci v roce 1917 tomu tak bylo. A jak říkáš: Leninismus, tedy komunismus za Lenina, by se dalo říct fungoval do doby něž se z něho stal Stalinismus, to, tak řílkajíc: šlo do kopru.

I already saw this on IG and damn it got me emotional already back then. I didn't know all this about your situation except for Navalny's case, which has been all over the news and for a good reason. Stay safe, I really hope there will be change. This is a great and definitely an important piece.
