A stunning portrait of Detan Z'Mor and Tyger Syberis sitting on the Aquarium Vignette.
General Tyger Syberis has too much on his mind to sleep, so he got a night cap (shot of whisky) while accidently waking up Detan from his deep slumber and now is worried for his friend.
To give some background context:
Detan Z'Mor came aboard the ship as part of the new recruits. General Tyger was surprised that command sent the very best Senior Medical Officer, Detan Z'Mor to the ship. General Tyger has known Detan since basic training and cadet school, they were unremarkable friends due to a unique bond.
General Tyger Syberis, a MurMurian from the planet Murr and Detan Z’Mor a Rexies from the planet Wagni Mi is half MurKurian due to his parents. Since Rexies are very common in the universe as to a MurMurian being super rare, you can image how General Tyger feels all alone while traveling the universe in the Galactic Federation being with no relations what-so ever to relate to.
So, when Detan Z’Mor came aboard General Tyger offered to split the quarters in half and have it reconstructed to support the additional crew members who came aboard on one side closed off as another crew quarters. Since there was no more room in the crew quarters. The other half of the General's quarters became Detan’s living space since he's the only quadruped on the ship that can't sleep/live in the smaller crew quarters due to his size and stature.
General Tyger started to sleep all over the ship and disregard his own health to make sure his crew was in high spirits. This was until Detan found out what was happening and convinced (More like forced) him to sleep with him like they did back in basic as feline cuddle buddies.
General Tyger obliged and this is now where we are today....
