I'm sure you're all tired of my music, but this is a quirky tune here that I wrote for the purposes of an industrial-type hard dance soft rock ensemble that I thought worthy of putting up here as well. Amusingly it fits smoothly in the laid back acoustic-ballad mode. If you don't like music slower than 250bpm you should probably escape while you can.
Yeah maybe I'm grounded
Maybe I'm higher than can be
Now we all do what we have to
Would you please accept me?
Yeah you were right
Yeah I was wrong
But this moment of pause can't last me that long
Yeah you were right
Yeah I was wrong
Just don't go Dylanning me around for so long
So long so long
Yeah maybe I'm grounded
Maybe I'm higher than can be
Now we all do what we have to
Would you please accept me?
Yeah you were right
Yeah I was wrong
But this moment of pause can't last me that long
Yeah you were right
Yeah I was wrong
Just don't go Dylanning me around for so long
So long so long

Sorry, if it's slower than two fifty beats per semihemidemisemiquaver, it's not for me. Fortunately this is a good deal faster than that, so bring it on!
Right, I'm listening to it and it's late (oh my! 10:30, I should 'ave been in bed minutes ago XP) but those sections where you sing
"Yeah maybe I'm grounded
Maybe I'm higher than can be"
are really catchy~ I'll be humming them for the rest of the night because I have no intention to go to bed :D

I really like your voice-- come to think of it, your voice reminds me of the singer from the Psychedelic Furs. Anywho, love the song. I seen in the info that your looking into dance rock. If thats the case, then I can totally see that happening. Maybe its just the musician in me bouncing around in my head, but those throbbing synths you typically hear in club remixes seem to fit here.
