the coloring is not bad on this, the only thing that kind of looks off to me is his throat. if he's already down to Corvax's torso, it should be a bit wider, the remainder of Corvax's torso shouldn't be under the big guy's jaw.

Overall this is solid work. And, if you think Corvax deserved it... then I guess it must be so. =)

one trick which i found worked for me was turn the image upside down. it helps me track what's off about the picture without the brain translating it out as specific things in the image. =)

don't think the picture isn't good, it is. just that one bit by the jaw is what was throwing me off, and thought you would want to know =)

Yuh, I used to only use SAI for outlining, and Photoshop for all the coloring.
Now SAI is the dominant art program. x'D;

lol Indeed what appears to look like, Paint Tool SAI, seen it how it works and it's awesome. But sucks it's only for PCs, |D Pixelmator is a Mac only creative software, it's a more styled Photoshop, but it takes advantage of graphics GPU and there's a lot more about it. It's primarily for Macs that are G5 or Intel. I have G4 and it sucks, it mostly runs from the OS, less on the hardware.

This is what I missed last night? Dammit! Though you did show me the sketch earlier in the week, it looks so much more better in colour! Speaking of colours, holy crap, right? They really look so vibrant and squishy. Especially the internal shot of Na'Jhraah's throat. I think it looks good and I would agree with the above when they talk about the anatomy of the gullet. Just something to work on, it's not that big of an issue, the average viewer would have missed it I think, like me. I would have.

Now then, about the little things in the picture.

I love how Corvax has his body wrapped partially around Na'Jhraah's neck like he's still trying to find a way out of being eaten. The monster Naga looks totally at ease with it, not trying to fight back, merely placing a hand on Corvax's body. He owns him. The same really goes for the way he has the tail tip gripped tightly with his lower hand, it's a total sign of possession and ownership and I love it. His muscles look really good from a side angle like this one, good use of perspective too.

Great job on this, really.

Just something about how the prey's body is perfectly designed to slip into the preds. :)

The pained expression on Carvax's face is perfect, and I love how he has his tail coiled around Na'Jhraah body in a last, desperate attempt to save himself.

While it looks really cool to see Carvax's hands up by his face, I did think it a bit awkward after seeing how his arms were pinned to his sides in part one. But it really helps enhance his expression inside of there, so I think it works. :)

The colors and textures are fantastic and once again, Na'Jhraah has such an awesome look to him. :D
