True story: I wanted my boyfriend to play Mario Kart 8 with me and he said it was years since he played, and sure enough he was an absolute potato. I taught him basically how to play (controls, drifting, when to use items etc) and he started to get a little better, but I was still hanging back. Soon, not only did he start doing better, he started winning. I was no longer guiding him, I was now actually trying to beat him... but it was too late and somehow he beat me, and with that smug look on his face. I-I swear I was only in 3rd though x3
