It's rude and doesn't cancel out just because you left a compliment. I used to do this, but I've learned that it's plain rude and unhelpful. It's also very condescending to laugh/giggle after saying something doesn't look good to you.
I suggest that you do not do this again. If you're interested in offering genuine constructive criticism (giving direct suggestions instead of vague opinions), ask the artist first. And better yet, do it privately in a note so that people don't dogpile you nor the artist. It's better to be prompted beforehand.

Huh. Yeah sorry to break it to you. That was extremely rude. As a artist as my self. If someone commented on my post like that it would be pretty put down buy it because on how much work I put into my art. And I'm pretty sure everyone like that. Bect time chose your words carefully.
