Well... sort of. With family and friends its for fun, but unless I specify something in the description not none of the monsters they've eaten have actually been brought back yet. There is a reason for this I just haven't revealed it yet. Side note- Miasma is the "black sheep" of the family and he almost always permavores since he has no respect for monsters or those who team up with them in any way.
