Great story, but I have one criticism: That's an ankle, not a knee. (Just a nitpick in comparison, but still, for future reference...)
And who says that the fictional characters we create aren't but reflections of other realities? I mean, if they were entirely fictional, they wouldn't boss us around at times, now would they?
