I got this idea of having a pregnant Lugia after watching an anime episode where Ash and friends were rescuing a baby Lugia from Team Rocket. Although it's hard to see the pregnant belly here, I guess having her wearing a "Baby on Board" maternal shirt is enough. To add some hilarity and cuteness, the poor Mareep is subjected to sacrificing its wool for knitting.
I approached this pic with a different method of coloring and inking and pleased with the results, especially with the Mareep.

Cute little picture. I always thought of Lugia as a gentle creature...especially after seeing Pokemon 2000.
I guess this takes the gentleness to the next level. Plus I think it's nice seeing a GENDERED Lugia for once. Now if only we had more of these gendered Legendary Pokemon...that would be nice. Please Nintendo make that dream come true in future games. lol
