The crowd in the ball room was buzzing with chatter, old friends meeting others in the first time in what seemed like forever. Ferox was here because a few friends invited him but he wasn't exactly one that fit into large crowds like this so he was by himself near the bar area with a glass of premium red wine in hand, he was watching everyone dance away as the many minutes ticked down towards the New Year. Eventually, one new friend caught his eye, a lovely feline gal whom he had just met and he wasn't expecting her to be there. She had made her way towards him and took the glass from his hand to set it down on the bar counter before taking his hand to drag him out towards the dance floor, he couldn't deny or...back out otherwise and went along with it.

The dragon held out his hands for her to put in his, he couldn't help but smile with happiness as he looked down at her and she looked back at him and so began the dance between the two, a bit of slow dancing, leaning into her, a few whispers here and there that got them both giggling as they looked forward towards the New Year. He hadn't felt this happy in a long while, and hoped the feeling wouldn't go away for a long while.
