The more I look at this, the more I almost wish I could fav this twice, or find some way to bring it back up to the top of my favs list. Not only are the colors wonderfully, wonderfully done, but the line is amazing, I absolutely love his back and his ears - that light scatter through them is marvellous, as is the textured shine on his nose. This is a picture that tells a story - or needs a story told about the subject. Definitely a character there, the life in this canid just oozes out of the picture. I would almost expect to see those eyes blink lazily. The half-flopped ear is a great touch, as is all the small details like the earrings and collar, and most especially that tattoo. He may be a lemondog, but he's a sundog too. Eh, enough rambling. Suffice to say, outstanding pic.

Wow this picture is fantastic, I just love the warm tones. They make the picture all cozy and happy looking. Also great lines and anatomy. I like dogs and lemons too, so you really couldn't have picked better subjects, IMO. And he's hanging upsidedown for no reason wheeeeee... I want to hug 'em.
