Your roses are beautiful ^-^

My mother and I have been watching all of these TLC, and other channels, cake making programs, thinking "We can do that!"

Not like we're expecting it to be easy, but we've already started looking up fondant recipe's to practice making little people and other thoughts, and we would love to put our name out in the community for local people looking for fantastic looking, unique, cakes.

We're aiming high, but I would like to see what we can do on a practice scale, for fun, before turning it into a potential buisness.

I find it amusing that if you look at 'em the right way, the droopy U shapes with the rufflies beneath them kinda look like weird vampire mouths. (Why yes it is late at night why do you ask)

how do you mask so smoothly D: -ponders- of course i bet not being on a naval ship rocking back and forth with 30ft swells also is pretty benificial.

Naw, t his one's Buttercreme frosting. And whatcha mean by mask? *may be doing a technique and not know the term*

Ah gotcha. Goes to prove I had no formal training for the job XD

Basically I just work fast and don't over work it. Put a ton of icing on and just scrape it back off, leaves a pretty smooth result, which you can only really do with 5 gallon buckts of the stuff at your disposal. Making cakes at home I always have a poop ton of icing left over where I over make to have some wiggle room in basing it.
